Once you verify that Carplay or Android Auto is updated on your phone, you, then you can connect to the device, which is connected to the radio. Select the option that apply to your device, and now you are connected wirelessly. It can't be easier. Same way connecting an HDMI device, it works great this is a must have for your car, specially if you spend time in your car, definitely I recommend it.
